Admin, randomness and selling my clothes for funding

So, unfortunately, I've had no time to make a video this week as I spent it all on administrative duties, documentary workshops where I learned that my career prospects include severe starvation and got me dizzy with all the techie details about camera specs. I've also had to sort which ones of my shirts I will be selling to fund my documentary trip to California - for real. Under duress, I've also decide to turn my hobbies into a micro-documentary funding venture by going to sell my handcrafted (recycled / sustainably produced of course) vintage charms along with my clothes at the Hackney Wick Flea Market. Told you it was random...
Have a good week-end!

  1. Went to your site though Charlie Veich's video. I think you're kind of missing the point. It's people's behavior and consumption patterns that feed these corporations. So if you really want to change things you have to change the end consumers.

  2. Have you tried the film schools to look for documentary film makers who could help you out? Also down in Soho you are surrounded by loads of film makers who hang out in the cafes and bars. Hand your cards out : )

  6. wow! thanks Charlie for bringing me some new friends!
Mitesh, I partly agree with you, consumer behavior has to change and since carbon emissions rise with income, it's not that dumb to target investment bankers:)

Still, for consumers to have a true choice, new environmentally and socially friendly products and services need to enter the market, which is impossible without investment. Moreover, these innovations are often shelved by large companies which benefit more from the status quo..

Martin and Sam: thanks for the tips! I'll definitely check it out when I come back to the UK. And thanks for the offer! For now I should have a superhero outfit made by my stepmom, but I’m up to trying the megaphone...

Natural Selection: hilarious! do not get injured in the bath tub on my account (I don’t have insurance:). email me your thoughts at emissionimpossibletv@gmail.com!
